Arriving at Auckland Airport and wondering where to meet your driver?
With Glen Eden Taxi, you don't need to search through a busy taxi rank or wait outside with your luggage.

For our standard International Airport pickup, the meeting point is in the offsite shuttle area. After collecting your luggage, simply follow the airport signs directing you to the offsite shuttle area, where you will meet your driver.

If you prefer a more personal experience, you can choose our Meet & Greet service. With this option, your driver will come inside the International Arrivals Hall, holding a nameplate with your name on it. Your driver will greet you, help with your luggage, and guide you to the vehicle.

Here's what to expect from the moment your plane lands.

Step 1: Clear Customs and Baggage Claim

After landing, follow the normal airport arrival process.

International passengers will go through immigration, collect their luggage, and clear customs. Domestic passengers can collect their bags and make their way toward the arrivals exit.

You don't need to worry about contacting your driver while you're doing this. When you provide your flight number during booking, we can monitor the flight and adjust the pickup time accordingly.

Step 2: Look for Your Driver Inside Arrivals

Once you reach the arrivals area, look for your driver holding the sign with your name.

International Terminal:
Our international pickup area is in the off-site shuttle area. Please follow the sign and meet your driver. If you want to take our meet and greet service, our driver will come inside the arrival hall with your nameplate and greet you.

Domestic Terminal:
The domestic offsite shuttle area is located outside Terminal C. Meet and greet is the same as international arrivals.

This means you don't have to walk around the airport looking for a vehicle or figure out which taxi in the rank is yours.

Step 3: Walk Straight to Your Vehicle

Once you spot your driver, they'll confirm your name and help you with your luggage.

From there, you'll be guided directly to your vehicle. There's no need to search through rows of cars or wait for the next available taxi.

If you've requested a child seat, luggage space, or any other requirements when booking, they will be arranged ahead of time.

What to Tell Us When You Book

A smooth airport pickup starts with accurate booking information. When you make your reservation, provide:

  • Flight number – Helps us monitor your arrival time.
  • Terminal – Let us know whether you're arriving at the International or Domestic Terminal.
  • Number of passengers – Include infants and children.
  • Luggage details – Mention large, heavy, or oversized bags.
  • Child seat requirements – Tell us the age of each child and the type of seat required.

Providing these details in advance helps us prepare the right vehicle and plan your pickup before you arrive.

Your fare is also agreed before the trip, so you know the price in advance rather than watching a meter during the journey.
